Everything was good

Very local to the main centre. Very clean, a comfortable big bed. With a great shower. Good coffee machine for everyone to use.

A bit dark.

Location was great. Good value for money.

The location was superb, very walkable and close to Verona old center and river. The room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower.

There is no one around when you arrive. I entered using code and could not open door to my room for some reason I tried pulling on the lever handle instead of pushing and it broke off in my hand. Despite pulling, I am not that strong that I should be able to pull off a door handle. I was told not to use Whats App that day to reach anyone so spent time emailing to try to get help. It took 45 min before someone came and they did not greet me, in fact were rather rude about the whole thing. I was given a different room finally which I preferred because other one was too big and darker. From then on the communication was poor. There was no information given in the room about how to use the a/c heating (I googled it), what to do with garbage/recycling and the coffee and tea was out in a common area with tables and chairs. In fact the room could have used a table and chair. The only dishes provided were two mugs and wine glasses, no utensils etc for eating in. There was no indication that cleaning was not provided in the ad or in the room and I had booked a 7 night stay. I ended up cancelling the last night and was refunded so that was good but when I had asked for cleaning, towels, floor etc I was told that they would send someone. It was not until the second last day when I inquired again that I was told that they do not offer cleaning. In that case they should either provide brooms and cleaning supplies or not accept customers for long stays. The mattress did not have a mattress pad, just a sheet over top that slid everywhere especially after a week. I had the same towels the whole time and the floors got quite dirty. During non business hours I was told to not use Whats App in emergency and since I did not have ability to phone I was on my own. As an older, solo traveller I did not feel safe.
