The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a residence dating from 1996, on the seafront. On the ground floor private car park and garage. direct access to the beach from the residence. Common room for surfboards, bikes etc ....
The duplex apartment with at 1st level consists of a master bedroom, a toilet and the living / dining room (1 sofa bed), overlooking the sea, a kitchenette and balcony / terrace.
On the 2nd floor the bathroom with a toilet and a bedroom (2 beds 1 person) overlooking the sea.
In Normandy, between Avranches and Granville, Jullouville, sheltered by the Bay of Mont Saint Michel, is a family resort bordered by the sea of the Channel.

A network of paths will allow very low altitude walks or easy cycling tours along the sea. You can watch beautiful horses in training on the beaches. Grouin South (2 Km), besides a splendid view of the Mont Saint Michel, Tombelaine and the bay, you can see the famous tidal bore at spring tides. It is also a starting point for a crossing on foot of the Bay. The House of the Bay (10 KM) has a permanent exhibition and offers numerous activities on the coast (bird observations, flora, shrimp fisheries etc ...). The apartment is old and could use a renovation E.g one of the two plates on the stove doesn't work. But the location is great and the view from the balcony is awesome.
We did have some communication issues, as they don't speak english, but they are really nice and we worked it out :)

The view from the balcony is stunning, the beach is a few steps from the property and there is a pedestrian promenade at the end of the garden leading to shops and restaurants. The surrounding area has pretty villages, lovely beaches and unspoilt countryside.
The apartment was very clean and neat and had everything we needed. M.Mme Coulon were friendly and charming and we would recommend this apartment.

This second floor flat is on two floors . Therefor a lot of steps , we had an elderly parent who found it challenging.
Decoration is bright and airy. the view from the balcony is amazing . Watching the horses exercising along the sand in the mornings was fantastic.
The only downside is the beds and settee are tired and the linen we hired was clean but again very tired.
The kitchen lacked a few utensils e.g. Bottle opener , tin opener etc.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. They are a charming couple.

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable à Jullouville. L'appartement est tout à fait conforme à la description, bien équipé et très agréable avec une superbe vue sur la mer. La plage est à deux pas et très tranquille. Très bon accueil des propriétaires. La région est magnifique. Bref, à recommander. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.
