A beautiful cosy cottage perfectly situated in the village of Evenley, very well equipped, bathroom is small with a shower cubicle but is fine and does the job, the garden is shared and not secure so be aware of that if you have a dog. There is a pub across the green in front of the cottage which is quite handy and the Post Office/coffee shop is two doors away and does nice cakes, there is also a farm shop 10 minutes walk away which is also useful. We stayed here for a month and enjoyed every day of it - we would do it again!

This cottage is absolutely gorgeous - a real find. Clean, comfortable, cosy and cultured. We loved it!! Having such a beautiful village green complete with cricket wicket, post office / cafe and pub nearby was a bonus

Lovely cottage which had everything we needed for a short break. It was clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay.If taking a dog just beware the rear garden is not separated from the neighbours. You couldn't ask for a nicer idyllic country village - pub, shop, post office and a local green with cricket being played. 10 out of 10

My wife and I stayed at this cottage for 4 nights at the end of January 2019.I am so glad the cottage had gas central heating as we had a big problem with the log fire we just could not keep it lit, maybe it was something we did wrong or the fire I do not know. Also the bathroom was very cold,no radiator only a electric fan heater which was not very effective. This cottage is very well equipped the owners have thought of everything even supplied bread butter milk orange juice tea coffee and sugar .Nice pub across the green called the Red Lion ate there on 2 occasions the meals where very good, friendly staff and the local people.
