This 3 bedroom, 3 bath plus two bonus game room and sleeping spaces vacation rental is ready for year-round fun! Located across from several public piers on Donner Lake, this property has 180 degree views of the lake and surrounding mountains from both floors and decks, with no structures between the home and the lake.
Enter the home through the stone foyer on the main great room floor. The main living space offers an open and bright kitchen with granite counter tops, updated stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar for four, dining for eight and a roomy living room furnished with a TV with streaming options. French doors open to a spacious deck overlooking Donner Lake; with outdoor dining, umbrellas, gas grill, and sectional couch (summer only).
Downstairs you'll find two queen bedrooms that share a bath and a main bedroom with an en suite bath with double sinks, a step in jetted tub and walk in dual head shower. The main bedroom boasts stunning lake views, a dedicated workspace, and reading lamps. Two separate entrances, one from the main bedroom and one from the hall head to a second deck; equipped with a hot tub and stairs down to street level for easy lake access. A parking pad is available at street level to park your trailer or boat.
Journey upstairs from the main living floor to a game room and bonus room. The game room is furnished with two twin beds, a twin trundle, and a foosball table. The bonus rooms is equipped with a futon for kids under 13.
Other highlights include a flat driveway off of Reed Ave and a two car garage (3 cars max).
About the area: Paradise Awaits is located on the west end of Donner Lake, just east of the public boat launch. You'll be walking distance to several public piers, the boat launch, west end beach and Donner Lake Marina and a short drive from several amazing day hikes including the Donner Vista Trail and Mt. Judah Loop. During the winter, this property is conveniently located a short drive from the Interstate 80 freeway exit, for easy access to Sugar Bowl and Boreal ski mountains.

House was plenty spacious and had beautiful views of Lake Donner. For $600 per night, comfortability was a bit of an issue. The house lacked amenities. We had to go purchase TP (sandpaper) soap (size of a matchbook), shampoo (none), conditioner (none), paper towels, etc. Furniture and beds were uncomfortable and water pressure was low. It was also a warm week so we kept windows open at night and closed them around 10am and it was uncomfortably hot in the house by 2pm. For $300-$350 per night this is a great place to stay. Side note: nothing is really open in the Donner Lake area Mon-Thurs.
