The house is located in the holiday village Eichwald. It is designed for rental and occupancy of 4 people.
It was renovated in 2016 and remodeled. In this context, the furniture has been extensively modernized.
As technical equipment a modern Sat-TV as well as Internet / WLan with up to 6000 KBIT / sec is available for our guests.
The house itself is a so-called roof-only house, as they are present in the entire holiday village Eichwald. The holiday village is located in its own, quiet area near the community Gossersweiler Stein in the district of Southern Wine Route in the Palatinate and the Palatinate Forest. Here is an ideal starting point for excursions - also in the neighboring Alsace with the city Weissenburg (Wissembourg), the North Vosges and the Wasgau. Of course, the area is predestined for hiking - even holidays with a dog - and for cycling, mountain biking or motorcycling. Also in the holiday village Eichwald itself, the house 27 is conveniently located in the outskirts in direct south exposure.
The nearest cities are Annweiler, Bad Bergzabern and Landau i. d. Palatinate. There you will find more attractive leisure activities. The holiday village is located in the biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest.
You can use the house with its sunny terrace (south side) but also just for rest and relaxation and wellness. A garden house with bio-sauna (heat cabin) for 2 persons is available

Within walking distance in approx. 10 minutes (850 m), to reach over forest roads and forest roads is the "Silzer Lake", a lake in the nearby Klingbachtal. A tree nature trail leads around it, the broad grassy banks of the north and south are used as lawns. You reach the lake from the holiday village Eichwald from the back without having to cross public roads.

My adult daughter and I (and our dog, Henry) stayed a week in Martina and Bernd's cottage. We enjoyed the wonderful natural light in the home, as well as the sauna and the walks in the forest. We cooked most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The wifi is great - we had no trouble streaming movies. The honey they make is delicious. Highly recommend! Thank you, Bernd, for the great instructions.

schönes Haus, Wanderkarten und Besichtigungsempfehlungen sowie Bücher und DVD vorhanden, freundlicher Vermieter, der uns bei der per WhatsApp abgesprochenen Ankunftszeit am Haus erwartete und uns alles zeigte.
