About this chalet rental
"The Chalet in the Stars" is located 300 m from Vercland gondola to Samoens in the Grand Massif ski area (260km of slopes) and 3 km from the village of Samoens and 1.5 km from the village of Morillon. It is on the hill at the edge of the forest with a magnificent view of the valley Giffre.
The chalet with a total surface of 300m2 has been completely renovated in 2017. It has 7 bedrooms, each equipped with a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Two of the bedrooms have bathtubs.
The large living room of 100m2 is composed of a fully equipped kitchen open to the dining room and the living room. Here you will spend wonderful moments with your family and friends in absolute comfort and in a peaceful mountain chalet atmosphere.
A communal path provides access to the gondola through the forest in 7-10 minutes walk. Shuttles that run between the villages and serve the gondola also pass the property (stop 400m from the house).

Hi,
It has been great holidays.
We were together with a group of friends and young kids so we needed some space. The chalet did not dispointed us, it is huge and everything is really well organized.

We were with 8 adults and 6 children and enjoyed this amazing place: big common area where the kids could play, big separate rooms with each their own bathroom, great kitchen, washing machine, ...
Michal answered all of my 30+ questions related to skiing, schools, accomodation, etc... at all times. He will make sure you have everything you need to have a pleasant stay.
The ski gondola is a 3m drive and there is enough parking space. There was no snow around the chalet, so impossible to ski down to the chalet. But these are minor things in comparison to the great place we got.
I highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved the chalet and the trek through the woods to the Gondola. We were lucky to hire equipment at the top and were able to leave it each day at the shop. The nursery slopes are on 2 levels but there is a bus to transfer you up and down if needed. Morillon is a 20min walk away for shopping needs or if you have transport Samoëns is a 5min drive away.

Three families spent a week at the Chalet in the Stars while skiing in Samoens. The chalet is well laid out with great views of the mountains. All the bedrooms & bathrooms are large & spacious. The beds themselves are all very comfortable and there's underfloor heating throughout the chalet. It has a well equipped kitchen and plenty of seating. It's a 5 min drive to the main chair lift in Samoens and 2 min drive to the Saix at Vercland. For both lifts get there early or parking will be an issue ! If it snows, you will need chains to get up to the chalet!
Michal was very responsive to answer any questions we had and the checkin/checkout process was very straightforward.
A great chalet to stay in while skiing the Grand Massif !
