About this cottage rental
Welcome to the gîte de la Tourelle, a former wine press restored in 2013.
Charming cottage located in a small village 6 km from the sea near the haven Vanlée (classified site).
As a couple or family, the cottage can accommodate 4 people (2 extra places possible in the convertible lounge).
On the ground floor: fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob 2 burners, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, kettle, toaster), hall (a table and 6 chairs), lounge (convertible sofa, wood stove, coffee table, TV, DVD player, TNT), other seating area (4 poufs and small table), bathroom (walk-in shower, sink, towel dryer, radio), separate toilet
On the floor: a room (with a bed 140 * 190, office, dresser), a room (with 2 beds 90 * 190, dresser, wardrobe), a big cupboard with tidying up, a toilet with wash-stand

We had a great week in this gite, which is a beautifully restored old building, finished, furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The interior of the building is quite charming and and the living accommodation is spacious and comfortable. The gite is situated in a hamlet about 20 minutes away from Granville and a few minutes away from Brehal, where there is an excellent supermarket. It is also well-positioned for trips to Barneville-Carteret, Coutances, Avranches etc. On arrival, we were a little confused because the photo on the website shows a side of the building which is hidden from the road and it looked a bit different from how we expected it. The owner wasn't able to meet us on arrival but the key was left for us in a secure key locker. We met her on the second day of our stay and found her very helpful. The visitor information provided was very useful.

A very comfortable cottage, built to an extremely high standard. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very handy for visiting Mont Saint Michel and the coast.

Exceptionally delightful property, beautifully presented, very clean and welcoming. We had so much room as only 2 of us stayed. Lots of information locally on our owners factfile. A pleasure to stay at this propeety and good place from which to explore Normandy.

Casa molto accogliente e proprietari gentilissimi.
Purtroppo la sistemazione interna non è comodissima: le due camere da letto sono al primo piano, e il bagno grande con doccia è al pian terreno, mentre al primo piano c'è un bagno piccolissimo , con lavandino minuscolo scomodissimo. Potrebbe essere organizzata meglio.
Sarenbe necessario avere indicazioni più precise per raggiungere la casa.
