Charming country house in forest 20 minutes west of Blois. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed and one with two single beds, extra sofa bed, central dining area with table for 6, wonderful fully-equipped kitchen with large refrigerator, bathroom with shower, spacious wrap-around terrace with grill, great WiFi and cable TV, and onsite parking directly in front of house steps. Extremely friendly hosts, easy communication and lovely area recommendations. All in all, a beautiful as well as convenient location for visiting the world-famous Loire and Cher castles combined with the peace and quiet of the French countryside!!

Lovely property in a quiet area, with very good views. Loads of outdoor space so you could catch the sun anytime. Ideally situated for visiting chateaux (if you are French) . We visited Chateau de Clos where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final years, well worth a visit from a technical aspect, although not the most picturesque of chateau. There was much information about places to visit The property was very well equipped and all the appliances worked ( didn’t try the oven though) Shower room was clean but would maybe benefit from a makeover. Vincent and Francois were very good hosts

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is comfortable and has a good equipped kitchen. The beds are good and spacious. We loved the terras and the view, the many birds, and squirrels around. I counted at least 20 different birds. Here the nights are dark and very quiet. It is not 5 star luxe but 5 star nature and pleasure. Every morning fresh bread from the baker in the village. And close to all the highlights of the Loire.
