Fantastic welcome. Amazing chocolate cake which our grandchildren really enjoyed. I loved the Easter wreath on the door. Lots of fun things to do on the area. Bkack rock walk and Lumsdale Falls. Camford Mill and canal walks.

Nice to meet the owner and know they were available if we needed anything. Loved the cake his wife made for us. Such a personal touch.
The spiral staircase down to the lower level. Very steep.

We loved the location. Perfect for a trip into Matlock. The kitchen was really well equipped. The beds were really comfortable. Our host Terrance, was lovely & made us feel very welcome. The local Chase café does a lovely breakfast.

Good to have WiFi.Nice quiet area.
Could do with an update on furnishings etc. Cutlery,crockery all mis matched , some chipped. Glad I had taken my tea pot, not available. Need new mattress also. Also a better clean recommended. No Heating in bedroom & very little heat in bathroom storage heaters.
