The Ashcroft Studios & Apartments with Free Parking

Apartment was spacious and clean and it felt like home.

The apartment was clean and in a great position. The live in manager was helpful and responsive. There was a huge TV, two double beds and some limited kitchen facilities in the room, alongside an en-suite bathroom Was quiet and right temperature

The blinds didn't really keep daylight out in the morning - black out or additional curtains would help. The room is advertised as having kitchen equipment, which it did, but be aware this really means crockery and cutlery. There are no bowls/pans etc. There is a combi/microwave and a toaster and fridge. However, due to lack of bowls, using the microwave to heat beans/soup etc is not possible. The sink in bathroom was blocked and the shower door didnt quite close properly. Didnt really impact too much, as used sink in room to clean teeth and just put towel down near shower

The building was immaculate and looked like it had been refurbished. The grounds have plenty of parking which is free. Colin was amazing, funny and accommodating. He was clear with instructions and was available anytime you needed him.

If I am being picky the car park is a bit tight if you have a larger car, but we managed fine 😊

Clean and modern . Bed was comfy. Water was hot for showers. Parking was good. Sainsbury’s was handy to apartment.

Heating was not working properly and was unable to operate it due to it being cased in. The caretaker said he’d sort it but didn’t and was freezing every night. Didn’t like being in the basement with one small window with a wall around it . Couldn’t see out at all. Felt like a dungeon. Kitchen window was too high and couldn’t reach the blinds cord. Bathroom mirror too high. Not much cooking facilities in apartment. Steps up to car park were too steep and very dangerous coming down them. Too much noise from creaky overhead floor boards and doors banging constantly, (advertised as sound proof).Fire blanket holder was empty. Needed more shelves in bathroom.
