Hotel Riva by Aycon

Excellent service, all staff were so friendly and did everything to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Was especially impressed by breakfast service. Wonderful location right on the seafront. We were upgraded to a sea view room which we were very happy with.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was dinner one night. Other than that it was all spot on.

Small lovely hotel, good service, kind very attentive staff, rooms with plenty of space, new, beach just a step outside of hotel, nice big beach towels, big very comfortable beach chairs, space between them, so you felt there is good distance from other people, loved the view on sea, service at the beach with drinks and food if you want, watter clean, and don’t need long walking to reach size of watter that you can actualy swim.. There is promenade just outside of hotel, didn’t know that before arrival, perfect for evening walk, quite some restaurants, icecream places, cocktail bars. We had our meals mostly at hotel, fish was divine and very fresh, we tryed also other things, tuna steak is also something I should recomend. We rented a car, but at the end didn’t use it at all. Because we felt so nice just where we were. It was first time we were in Petrovac, and were quite nicely surprised with everything. Think we chose a perfect hotel for our stay. We had also an issue first day with our rented car, somehow even if insured fully, when we arrived to hotel our wheel went flat, so we discovered that is not part of insurance somehow. Well staff of hotel arranged all very fast, find mechanic, he came immediately and fixed a problem for a correct price. So something that could became a nightmare, Luckely it didn’t because they so promptly helped us about, so we didn’t need to struggle with it. We are very grateful for it. Instead we could relax and enyoj the place.

Hotel Riva has comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and a great location, but the reason it deserves a 10 is due to its amazing staff. We travel often, but have rarely met such friendly, helpful and capable people, especially at the reception. They made us feel welcome and excited about our stay when we arrived and helped us with a range of questions and some small request, which they didn’t have to do but did happily and readily.
