Great location and perfect for families traveling with small children. Super friendly staff and beautiful views from the outside terrace on a warm summer night. I can also imagine this being the perfect hotel when you’re there for hiking - unfortunately we only spent one night on our way home after our summer holiday elsewhere.
Breakfast was extensive and good and having the playroom and other children’s corners made all the difference for us.
All in all it felt like a little adventure for us and our 2-year old :)
It was very warm in the room. Understandable because of the hot weather in general and the explanation why there is no airco because of the protected status of the buildings, but making an effort to cool the rooms as much as possible before arrival would be an improvement we would welcome. The curtains were open when we arrived, and also did not close properly because of how they were installed (I fixed that myself), I would advise to close them when it’s warm outside.
We asked for a fan at check-in, which we got straight away and which helped (thank you!) but it should really be a standard amenity in the room if you ask me.

Room was nice and the breakfast was excellent
Staff were very friendly and helpfull.
Check in is at 1600 but our room wasnt ready till 1630.
The room itself was clean but the hallways were a bit dirty.
