The location was very convenient. We wee a few minutes away from visiting our family. The location is near to the transport networks and shops and the park.
We had to get used to sharing the bathroom with other guests.

Location is great - right near the train station and a Morrisons across the road with an excellent cafe. Town is a few minutes walk away, plus the Walks is lovely to walk through, with a park for young kids and a place to get a nice cold drink or ice cream on a hot day.
Host was very accommodating to requests.
Walls are rather thin between rooms 3 and 4, heard lots of noise, footsteps, tv, talking, even at 1am. The doors are on a spring, and if you let it go, it slams shut. Which wasn't great when you have neighbours who do not care about noise, and will make lots of it at all hours. 3 and 4 have a shared bathroom, and it isn't great when you are waiting ages to use the toilet because someone is taking their time in there, wasn't aware of another bathroom until it was too late. (Host was informed of all this, but did not respond until it was far too late - no issues with the host really, but it would have been better if the issues were dealt with sooner. Didn't complain about anything until that point, because it was tolerable. And I've seen responses from the host to negative reviews - yes I know plenty disagree with me, yes I know people can make up their minds from any reply you may give, but this is my experience, host did not have to deal with all of that first hand.
Room was incredibly hot (mostly due to hot weather) despite a fan blowing constantly and a window being open. But wasn't in there much, so only had to contend with it for a bit.
