The pool, steam room, sauna (once we figured out how to keep the door closed) and jacuzzi where great to have after a long day skiing! Afternoon reception staff member (lady with red hair) was exceptional! Even ordered take away for us :)
Staff member at check in wasn’t the friendliest and we had a mix up with our rooms. Bed not as comfortable as I would have liked. No honey at breakfast and we were told they had stopped providing it.

Our stay at the hotel truly exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which was both unexpected and greatly appreciated. It was a wonderful gesture that immediately made us feel valued as guests.
While the building, furniture, and overall design could certainly benefit from modernization, as they appear somewhat dated, this did not diminish our overall positive impression. The warm hospitality and friendliness of the staff more than compensated for these aspects. Every team member we encountered was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful.
We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities available on each floor, including hot water, tea, coffee, pastries, and fresh fruit. It was particularly convenient that pastries and fruit were also available in the restaurant at any time of day. The breakfasts and dinners were varied and plentiful, offering a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes.
Overall, despite some areas that could be updated, the hotel provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience thanks to its excellent service and generous hospitality. We would gladly consider staying here again.
As for the areas that could be improved, the location is not the most central. It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to the Diablo ski lift, and unfortunately, the shuttle service was not always convenient — there was often a queue, or it was delayed due to traffic. Additionally, although dinner was fully included in our stay, tea was charged separately, which felt a little unusual.

The hotel was excellent. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a family room and felt very relaxed. The room was warm, and there was a coffee machine inside. There is also a tea station in the corridor available for everyone.
We chose the all-inclusive option, and every meal was delicious with plenty of variety. The hotel has its own parking area. You can rent ski equipment directly from the hotel at a reasonable price, and there is always a shuttle available to take you to the ski slopes.
The ski area is quite close — about a 5–10 minute walk — and there is also a lift next to the hotel that takes you to the slopes even faster if you prefer not to walk. The pool was also nice. We were very satisfied with our stay, and the view from our room was amazing. 👌🏻
