The cabins are gorgeous - beautiful, wooden buildings. They’re spacious, clean and well-equipped.
The staff were friendly. The breakfast was very good too.
There was one major issue with our room. There was a broken aroma dispenser in our bathroom. Not a big issue in itself. However, this thing would try to ‘fire’ once an hour (at 26 mins past the hour, believe me, I know). When it did this, it would make a loud ‘bang’ noise and an eerie green light would flash several times. I first discovered this at 10:26pm, as I was drifting off to sleep - unsurprisingly, it scared the life out of me. It then continued to do so all through the night. Closing the door did not help much.
Sadly, there was no one on reception or available by phone by that time in the evening, so my one night in this beautiful setting was marred by this.
There really needs to be some sort of way of contacting someone - if not for this sort of problem, perhaps in the case of a real emergency.

They have nice accomodation that is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding. For anyone without a dog, I recommend booking at this place.
We have a dog, and the booking.com website clearly states that dogs are welcome. But when we arrived at breakfast in the morning, we were refused to come in because of our dog. They told us it is not allowed to have a dog during breakfast. So we had to leave and take breakfast to our room where we had to eat our breakfast on the couch without a proper table. If your policy is to not allow dogs during breakfast, fine. BUT PUT IT ON THE BOOKING.COM WEBSITE PLEASE SO WE KNOW! How hard can it be. If the website would have said that dogs are not allowed during breakfast, we would have known and chosen a different place to stay in that case.
