Really kind and helpfull staff, before arriving and during the stay as well.
Good location, university and lake are so close, restaurants also. Clean room, bathroom.
Nice breakfast, not a huge selection, but can find as you need.
Not too much plug in the room (only 2 in a five-bed room).

This was perfect for a few nights in Klagenfurt for work. It is simple, but that is what I wanted, all I needed was there, clean and comfortable bed, quiet but cozy atmosphere, breakfast. Also kind staff plus nice location (near lake and good bus connection to centre). Late check in was accommodated with no issues.

Good quality older beds, room was spacious with plenty of sunlight. Free private parking in front of building. Two sinks in bathroom. Breakfast was surprisingly good for this kind of accomodation. I missed something sweet to finish with my breakfast coffee.
Single beds don't have nightstands and not every bed has electrical socket nearby. Towels are not provided by default, but can be added for small fee. Bedsheets have to be taken off and carried downstairs but that wasn't any problem for me.

The location as it was a short walk to the beautiful lake and the excellent breakfast
There is also an interesting British war cemetery very close by if you like history
Booking.com has the check in wrong time. Check in is at 16:00 not 15:00
The receptionist was dismissive when I mentioned this telling me that I should have read the hostels emails and not the email from booking.com
Not a good start to the stay
