A lovely room with some nice little personal and thoughtful touches. Great to have a fridge in the room too. A lovely property. Check in was very friendly.

That we had to go home.

Pretty much everything. Great value for money, close to the Marina, and a short walk to the town centre.

My only complaint is that although there was a blind on the bedroom window it didn't block out the early morning sunshine, and once awake I couldn't get back to sleep again because of the sunshine. It could be easily fixed by getting a better blind for the window. That's why my review is only 9/10, Otherwise it would have been a perfect 10 out of 10.

The room was pleasant and comfortable. Everything was very clean. Good location, close to the beach.

The toilet was blocked.

Marina, our host, was very friendly and helpful. I liked the personal touch in the room - a lovely teddy on the bed (I'm recently bereaved and welcomed the comfort), Christmas chocolates and chocolate and plain biscuits topped up each day, to enjoy with coffee, tea or hot chocolate. My room overlooked the boating lake and the sea and was very bright and colourful with a modern décor. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. I had keys to the room and front door so could come and go as I liked. Marina also reserved a parking place for me, which was very welcome and reduced parking stress.

Just a few little things - the wall heater looked rather battered, the lighting on the bathroom mirror didn't work and some of the grouting in the bathroom was a little dirty.
