Karen is such a wonderful lady. Her knowledge about the history locally and afield was fantastic. We were running late for our arrival and Karen waited up to welcome us. We were shown our room and explained the facilities. The beds were super comfortable for us. My parents were given a ground floor room which was perfect for my dad who is in a wheelchair. The rooms were clean and had plenty of tea, coffee and sweet treats. The bathroom also had plenty of toiletries in including new toothbrushes and toothpaste. In the morning we were greeted in the dining room with a little note welcoming us as a family. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. We were also given the opportunity to take any pastries left over for our travels. Karen spent time showing us all the history information and telling us her recommendations. She even gave my dad some books to take away and read whilst we travelled to the Somme. There was free parking right outside the building and the location was 2-3minute walk from the centre. This is by far the best Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed in. The host was fantastic and we will definitely be staying there again when we return. Thank you Karen.
