About this house rental
New house (2017) on a plot of 500 m², on the heights of Wissant. Country side, 10 minutes walk from the sea. 5 minutes from the center.
Fully enclosed garden.
Old outbuildings preserved but not accessible.
There are still a few finishes to do: landing floor, kitchen door frame.
Upstairs: Parents' bedroom of 14 m². Place for a baby bed.
Large room of 24 m² with a double bed and 2 single beds. Place for a cot.
Shower room with WC, washing machine.
On the ground floor: Entrance, WC, Living room, dining room with fitted kitchen. Very large bay window to enjoy the south-facing garden. Dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster ...

We had a nice stay, communication with the owner went all well (only in French). Very helpfull. House is close to the sea on walking distance 800m. Nice garden with enough shadow to hide from the sun if needed.

We really enjoyed staying in Damien's house! It is still quite new, spacious with lots of light from the big windows on the garden side.
All necessary amenities are available (dish washer, washing machine, lots of plates and glasses, and so on). Note that there is no TV, but we did not miss it.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other one with two singles and a double, so perfect for families with 2 or 3 children (the singles are under the roof, so not that much space above them - good for children). The beds were all comfortable.
The interior is modern/timeless, some older cupboards and elements combined with self built shelves and scandinavian style furniture.
All rooms are equipped with electric heaters to quickly warm up the house and the fire oven can make the living room warm when it is chilly outside. The house is very well insulated though, the cold winds from the outside will not come inside.
There is a parking space in front of the house and the garden is quite spacious with a cement patio in front of the living room. Garden furniture is also available.
Damien was very friendly and welcomed us and showed us what we needed to know when we arrive and when we leave.
Wissant is a cosy small town/village that has everything you need in walking distance - supermarket, bakeries, and restaurants/cafés and offers a variety of outdoor activities from surfing (waves/wind/kite) to hiking, biking etc.

Sehr netter Vermieter, der schnell antwortet und erreichbar ist.
Behagliches, voll ausgestattetes Haus in ruhiger Lage, aber fußläufig zum Zentrum von Wissant.
Haben in dieser Unterkunft zum zweiten Mal unseren Urlaub genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder.
