The house and lawn were beautiful. You have to enjoy older homes. It definitely is old world charm. It was a little musty. Which didn't bother me at all. However, my friend hated that. My only other minor negative was a lack of sleeping pillows. Ugly American loves nice fluffy pillows. And definitely more than one very flat uncomfortable pillow. Also, linens were in short supply. Be it sheets (no top sheets) or towels.
On the positive...The house was a short pleasant walk into the friendliest, most charming town. I absolutely loved it!
The owner couldn't have been more fabulous. He was extremely nice.

Sehr schönes bretonisches Haus in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Großzügiger, sehr schön gestalteter Garten. Betten sehr bequem. Das Dorfzentrum ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

First of all, the owner, is the kindest and most generous man on earth. He bent over backward to make sure we were happy. We had a bad experience in our original rental and, already in Brittany, had to find a place to stay ASAP. The photos don't always live up to the place. In this case, it was nicer than the photos. The grounds are beautiful. The inside of the house is immaculate. You feel like is is the home of someone who loves it like their own because it's true. It enables you to immediately feel at home. It was SPOTLESS! The artwork, the armoires are beautiful. Easy walk to the small town where they have all the essentials. Easy walk to Intermatche as well. Close to Pont Aven and other lovely spots.

Gîte spacieux, bien agencé pour avoir chacun son espace. Nous avons aussi apprécié le grand jardin où poussent une grande variété d' espèces végétales. Les axes routiers accessibles rapidement et la proximité de la côte , nous ont permis de découvrir les principaux sites de la région.
