Great location

No lift steep narrow stairs

Really liked this place, fitted the brief superbly. Really comfy, friendly and decent if not better than decent price.

Location was good and shower was excellent. Comfy bed and clean and tidy.

Staff were unhelpful and did not speak English. The reason we chose this hotel was all the reviews said staff were helpful and a delight. I don’t speak French but the last 9 out of 10 reviews were from English visitors and a huge percentage are from the UK overall. A friendly welcome would have gone a long way. Sound proofing is non existent. Stairs very steep to top floor. No lift.

Bad start at reception. Unsmiling, frowning, just wanted to take money. We explained we had already paid on booking.com but we had to pay again. Receptionist spoke no english so had to use google translate and still confused why we were asked to pay again when we had already had money taken from our account. Comfy bed, good location, would not return due to unfriendliness. Location was excellent and central. Parking a half mile walk away if you do not want to pay for on street parking.

Reception was unwelcoming and unfriendly. Got the impression they do not like english tourists! Bed was comfy. there were labels tying up the curtains telling us not to close them! It said there were automatic blinds that shut but they didnt (thankfully as we were concerned about that!). The safe was not working, batteries corroded inside. Bath so tiny my husband had to fold himself into it. Watched TV on our laptop as TV was not showing any english or interesting channels.
