What a beautiful hotel in the heart of Bakewell. Decor is fabulous, food delicious and the staff are great. We had a lovely stay.

I would recommend for its location in Bakewell. The hotel is furnished to a high standard and rooms exceptional.
The standard of hygiene and layout of each room shows good attention to detail.
I would therefore thoroughly re ommend to family and friends.

This hotel is right in the middle of Bakewell .There is free parking .The hotel was trimned up lovely and the staff were lovely and proffesional.The restaraunt is fabulous its a lovely place to eat .The food is so tasty.

We stayed at the Rutland Arms in September 2025, we paid *** for a two night stay. The room is incredibly basic and we found the bedding itchy. There is also no fridge in the room. Given we were on the top floor despite having the window open for the duration of our stay the heat in the room was often unbearable. Additionally the shower was not very powerful. Had the accommodation been more reasonably priced for what it was I could have provided a higher rated review but at *** a night I would have expected a lot more. We ate in the restaurant one evening, we asked on three occasions for water before this was brought to us and were already on our main course. The food was mostly overcooked and unenjoyable. As a positive it is very conveniently located to most things you would want to access in the Peak District.
