It was quiet with a lovely view, not far from convenience stores and nearby towns. The pod was clean, well stocked and lovely and hot when we arrived. The ceilings lights were beautiful, and a great touch.
We couldn't find the site and called the number on the booking, left a voicemail and 2 x texts but received no response back. Luckily we found it after knocking on some doors.

Fully self catered. All meals made by myself. Very nice setting. Very comfortable and cosy. I would definitely stay again.
Nothing caught my eye.

I liked the quietness - at least that appertained when I was there. I barely saw anyone - that is I saw some people walking past fifty yards away on the morning I left. I never saw anyone who owned or managed the property. I liked this "Marie Celeste" quality to my stay there. It felt like being on a mini retreat.
The pod had very good wifi - and a surprisingly good supply of hot water! - no freezing shower.
I messaged to ask if I could arrive a few hours early and leave my rucksack somewhere before checking in? A firm refusal was messaged back. Yet this request could easily be met with - in my view at least - I could have just left my rucksack on the pod's "at my own risk". It would have greatly helped me had I been able to do this. Not everyone has a car - and I did say that I would be arriving by bus.
In theory the pod can accommodate four people - this leads to it being very tightly arranged - i.e. it is devilishly difficult to make the bed! Against that, though, I was impressed by the facilities it provides - fridge, microwave and hotplate - even a TV! None though are necessary and 'twas only the fridge I used - which could just as well have been a cupboard for my wants.
Tor another £2.50 a night I could have booked a hotel - and had a breakfast with it. So it is not great value for a chap on his own. At half the cost maybe?
