About this house rental
Immersed in the green countryside of Abruzzo just 10 km from the sea and from Pescara, there is our farm where you enter through a private avenue of olive trees. It consists of two separate and independent units, FEDERICO and CATERINA dwellings, a large car park and a flat garden of 2.000 square meters with numerous and various trees including olive trees, holm oaks, cypress pines and magnolias and a large and well-kept lawn. to sunbathe and play. The entire property is completely fenced to enjoy in complete freedom and tranquility and in the exclusive way of the wide spaces and a view that goes from the Abruzzo countryside to the Gran Sasso mountain.
Also available is a sun terrace, barbecue, tables and chairs, comfortable rocking chairs, hammocks, sun loungers for sunbathing.
Use of the garden is shared for guests of both Houses.
For the children we provide various games.
Heating costs from September to April for both houses are not included in the room rate and are payable on consumption in cash at check out.
FEDERICO HOUSE: it has been furnished with antiques typical of Abruzzo, combining the taste for the past with comfort.
It is on two levels connected by a comfortable wooden staircase. The lower floor is composed as follows: the eat-in kitchen still has the original terracotta floor, it is equipped with a three-burner stove, a small electric oven, an electric kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, a fridge with a freezer; It is fully equipped with dishes, pots, etc. Spacious dining room with large table for 6 people and direct access to the garden, living room with fireplace furnished with sofa, armchair, flat-screen TV, bookshelf, desk. The studio is welcoming, has books, records and radio.
The upper floor consists of two spacious double bedrooms with beds with slats and foam mattresses. Both are very bright and from your bed you can enjoy a wonderful view of the trees. They are furnished with wardrobe, bedside tables, chairs, chest of drawers, mirror.

We really enjoyed our stay at this rustic, charming, old farmhouse surrounded by acres of property The place is very quiet and calming and we enjoyed sitting on the courtyard with a glass of wine enjoying the quiet country ambiance. The house has two large bedrooms, and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower. No A/C, but the thick walls keep the place cool and the numerous windows provide a nice fresh breeze. If you like peace and quiet, especially at night, this place is for you. Francesca is a great hostess who communicated well, and her husband Luca gave a great tour and background of the property in English. There are a couple other farms nearby, so you might hear a chicken or a happy donkey braying at mealtime. Be advised that the upper floor is accessed through a compact spiral staircase, so anybody with mobility issues should not rent this property. Getting heavy luggage up to the upper floor can be a bit of a workout, but we took advantage of it to work off those large meals!

Es ist ein besonderer Ort, viel Platz, schöne Möbel, ein riesiges Grundstück mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten und verschiedenen Pflanzen.

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern und einem Hund in der Unterkunft. Das Gelände ist weitläufig mit einem hohen Zaun umgeben, so dass unser Hund immer frei laufen konnte. Das Grundstück hat viele hohe Bäume, man findet immer Schatten. Wir hatten tolles Wetter und konnten immer gemütlich im Freien speisen. Aber auch das Haus ist gemütlich und für vier Personen mehr als ausreichend. Die Ausstattung ist "antik" - sehr schöne Möbel. Es gibt innen wie aussen viele Sitzmöglichkeiten. Auch die Küche ist altmodisch belassen. Das ganze Haus hat Flair. Man fühlt sich in eine andere Zeit versetzt.
Das zweite Haus auf dem Gelände war nicht bewohnt, wir waren absolut allein - das war toll.
Man braucht ein Auto. Der nächste Minimarkt ist 10 Minuten entfernt, aber wer mehr Leben braucht, muss Richtung Meer nach Silvi oder in eine der anderen nahen Städte fahren. Wer mit Hund kommt, kann in 25 Minuten an einen Naturstrand fahren, wo der Hund auch mit darf.
Unser Vermieter war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, hat uns mit allen wichtigen Informationen und guten Tipps versorgt. Vielen Dank dafür.
Wir waren begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.

The Abitazione Federico is situated in the same property (better to say park) of Abitazione Caterina, so is suitable even for 2 families and up to 8 people (as we were). The property is very well maintained, the big garden is safe for children and even for pets, precincts and with olive trees, pinewood and oaks. The house is comfortable and newly renovated. The owners are kind and with discretion. The pictures, for once, are less nice than real. The price is lower than how is worth
