Located between Newport and Balboa Piers this mid Century 4 unit building on West Balboa Blvd Is perfect for short walks to either Pier and many fine restaurants, as well as the Balboa Ferry and the Catalina Flyer. This Studio apartment has a full kitchen. There is a comfy queen size captain's bed with storage underneath and ample closet and drawer space. Side tables are laptop tables to provide a workspace. Amenities include Smart TV, Cable, free Wifi, coin op washer and Dryer, there is a gas BBQ with table and chairs on a shared patio space. 2 Tommy Bahama Beach chairs and Boogie Boards are provided and stored in the garage with the laundry. This is a ground floor unit. There is a small bathroom with a NEW SHOWER!. Street Parking only. Quite hours are very important. No animals allowed on property due to allergies. A great, affordable option in a less-than-affordable area! I was in town for work, the property was just what I needed and the hosts were responsive. GREAT location, quiet. If you are going to spend a lot of time out of the apartment, this is the perfect choice.

Host was quick to respond and very kind. Location is clean and safe neighborhood and 1 min walk to the ocean. Property is exactly as advertised.

It would be a 5 star, but they are stingy with supplies. We ran out of garbage sacks, shampoo and conditioner, and toilet paper. 1 and 1/2 rolls for 2 adults for 7 nights. It was hard to find toilet paper on foot.
