Clean, cute and great location

The staff was amazing and very warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel has a charming traditional mountain style, and our room was cozy and comfortable. The location was very convenient, just a 10 minute walk to the main bus station and 5 minutes to Coop and Denner, which made it easy for us to take the bus to the Olympics in Livigno every day. Breakfast was good, with nice options like hot fruit tea and yogurt, and eggs available as well.

The only small thing to mention is that the sleigh bed might be a bit short for someone over 200 cm tall, but it added to the cozy alpine charm of the room.

Breakfast was typical for the area, served buffet style in a lovely room (with a patio, but no one was using that when I was there). Good coffee. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Zernez is a very quiet little town, with superb access to the Swiss National Park, whose visitor center is just a short walk from the hotel. There is a Coop for your grocery needs, a bank, a post office, a couple of restaurants. I was in a room that shares a toilet (one floor below) and a shower (two floors below). These were always available to me and well attended. The room was very nice, all that I needed. There is a train station, as well as bus stops, and a dedicated bus to the park, just across from the visitor center. Public transportation in Switzerland is the best I've seen, anywhere, and the SBB app is brilliant.

There's no pharmacy closer than Sargans, a 90-min train ride away - so come prepared!

It's a hostel type of accommodation - the facilities are shared, rooms are tiny and you will know everything what's going on.
