Skye Backpackers

The room we had was clean & comfortable. It is only a backpackers hostel so expectations need to match. The kitchen was clean well maintained and well equipped. Showers ran nice and hot with good water pressure.

Noise from people outside our room waiting to use the showers was annoying. You have to pay extra for towels!!

Very friendly welcoming host who made a copy of our ID reference numbers .Nice Lounge three sofas. organised kitchen. Breakfast for £4.50 Toast juice cereal pastry fruit, with as much tea coffee as you can drink was very welcome. Pay on the morning. Fabulous views two minutes walk from the bus stop to Portree or Kyle of lochalsh did have local pub but I didn't go. Our twin bunk bed room had its own sink and hand towel provided. headspace when I sat up in the top bunk. Photo shows place above red Mini and sitting on the topbunk.

bunk beds have a metal bar halfway down the bed under the mattress which if your hip is at this height can be a bit uncomfortable.

Everything was perfect.

Apart from you need to book a seperate bed for everyone including kids, i dont think there was anything wrong. It was perfect.

A vista da janela do quarto é muito bonita. A cozinha para hóspedes é bem equipada.

Os colchões são PÉSSIMOS! Muito, muito finos! A disposição/quantidade de santuários é insuficiente para a quantidade de hóspedes. Os chuveiros são como "cápsulas", muito pequenos e em alguns momentos a água aquecida acaba e o banho pode ficar frio.
