We stayed three nights at Sunny Beach apartments and had a great time. The place is perfectly located on the beachfront in Rethymnon but a bit from the most crowded part of town. The room was clean and had all necessities for a pleasant stay, ac, fridge and a small stove for basic cooking. Constantinos is a very helpful host, answers both telephone calls and text messages at once if you have to come in contact with him. He is also willing to give you tips on good tavernas, free sun beds and other things that you might need information about.

Accueil très sympathique du propriétaire, proximité de la plage, et le centre ville n'est pas loin en voiture. Le petit balcon est agréable pour y manger avec une vue sur la mer. Pratique, propre et agréable pour visiter Rethymnon et ses environs.

Our host gave us some fruit and a small bottle of raki upon arrival and we were given an apartment, for 4 persons but with a restricted sea view further back..The bedroom was comfortable and the balcony was ok.
The apartment was a good 30 minute walk from town.The dining area was somewhat bare like a school classroom.The kettle did not switch off automatically and the cooker was old and slow to heat up.We had no hot water for 2 days out of 4 and no rubbish collection for 3 days.So all in all a bit of a mixed bag 🛍️ although we were given a bottle of wine on our final day ..
