The hostess, Margaret was lovely and welcoming. The place was very clean. The bathroom was excellent and some lovely lavender soap provided (you cannot purchase, so was very special). There were 2 good restaurants less than 2 minutes walk away. The beds were comfortable.
I was not expecting a homestay situation, at all. A homestay is a different experience to the B and Bs I have previously experienced. The ad felt misleading. The original ad did not even indicate it was a Band B unless you looked really hard, nor was this mentioned even in the reviews. If you are into home-stays, you could not ask for more. No separate entry and parking was on street. No place in the room for luggage, or a luggage rack, but we could put luggage in another room

What a wonderful retreat with an exceptionally gracious, generous and hospitable host. The beautifully decorated ensuite room was large with a luxurious bed with quality linen and white, soft and engulfing towels .We had the best nights sleep. There was safe parking right outside the door. Margaret, our host was friendly, welcoming and provided lots of very useful tourist advice (local and further afield). Our breakfast was superb.
We can highly recommend this property and the wonderful host, Margaret. Thank you so much.
