Recent house in a quiet subdivision 10 minutes from Bayeux, 20 from Arromanches, and these landing beaches, 15 from Caen, 1h30 from Mont St Michel, 2h45 from Paris. Large terrace and garden furniture. Improvement of the entrance courtyard.

This property is fully equipped for a stay of any duration, both inside and on its secluded patio.
Our party consisted of two people but with four bedrooms available, a large family could share the house with ease.
The position is very well placed for visits to the sites in Bayeux, Caen and the Normandy landing beaches.
The host, Philippe, is very aimiable and welcoming and it was a pleasure to meet him.
I fully recommend this letting.

Great location and very quiet. We went for the cycling and visiting the Normandy beaches museums and memorials. The location could not have been better (so long as you have a car) as it's very central. The roads around are perfect for cycling as they are very quiet and there are interesting villages with old houses and chateaux at every turn. The house itself is very warm, spacious and well equipped. Philippe is also very friendly and attentive - he even arranged good weather for us in April!

The property is spacious, it was clean and well equipped. Perfect for two families sharing as the are two seperate bathrooms. The rear garden is roughly South facing and equipped with garden table and chairs. Some sun loungers would have been a bonus. We had a 3 years old child with us and the garden is not secure so a small child needs supervision. The kitchen is well equipped but lacks a kettle.
The village of Coulmbs is small and sleepy, the ringing of the church bells a lovely welcome sound.
There are not any shops in Coulmbs. The next village, Cruelly, is a few minutes drive and has a cafe, a boulangerie, and a pizza restaurant. The supermarkets are in Bayeux
We had a couple of minor issues and Phillipe responded quickly.
If you enjoy a quite and peaceful location this property is perfect.

- freundlich, netter Empfang
- gute Einweisung in Haus und Umgebung
- Schlaf- u. Badezimmer sehr sauber
- Küchenbereich auch (kleine Abstriche beim Backofen
und einigen Kochutensilien)
- gestellte Bettwäsche und Handtücher vorbildlich
- kein Aufpreis für eine Endreinigung
(Betten abziehen, spülen,Tische abputzen und
durchfegen/saugen sollte selbstverständlich sein)
- ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, ein Badezimmer und
eine Toilette im Erdgeschoss
- drei Schlafzimmer (2 x Doppelbett und 1 x zwei Einzelbetten),
ein Badezimmer und eine Toilette im Obergeschoss
- Treppe zum Obergeschoss ohne Geländer/Handlauf
- Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen und Sonnenschirm
(uns wurde auf Anfrage ein Grill auf die Terrasse gestellt,
Grillkohle haben wir selbst besorgt)
- in dem Dorf ist "tote Hose", Mobilität erforderlich
Alles in allem sehr gelungen - Merci Philippe
