We stayed in the St. John room, and it more than exceeded our expectations. The room size is incredible, and the bathroom is amazing, nothing like we expected from the pictures.
The complementary biscuits were delicious and a lovely touch! The lady who checked us in (fairly new) was delightful, friendly and made sure we had the correct daily biscuits.
Breakfast was lovely, and the service was great.
The ceiling in the St. John room needs some attention. Looks like it's bowed. Other than that, not much to dislike about the stay and facilities overall.

Loved the location and design of this hotel. Staff were also very lovely.
Overall whilst claiming to be a boutique hotel, it’s looking a little tired and in need of TLC. I don’t know whether it was the location of our room but you could smell the kitchen cooking in the room. Which wasn’t pleasant and made all of our belongings smell too. That was our only negative though.
