Troysgate is a great location. A few minutes walk into the heart of Kilkenny. Great value for money and the staff are very helpful. We were pleased with our stay.

This is our 2nd stay here as couple. Hotel is within walking distance to the city centre (castle, bars, Penneys etc). This time we booked a double room which the room is spacey enough for 2, warm & clean. All i can suggest to improve are:
1. Proper Trash bin inside the room (the one we have inside the toilet is really too small)
2. Kettle to boil water to boil the water
Their kitchen is fabs!!! Try their foods (breakfast), so presentable, delish & satisfying!
We will surely come back to this guesthouse whenever we come back to Kilkenny ❤️

I really enjoyed this place, great staff, super friendly, and it's within a 10 minute walk of the city center. Parking included is really helpful, though I found out the main parking lot isn't right beside the hotel (with a VERY narrow entrance), it's diagonal across the street with much easier access.
