Apartment Gentiane-3 by Interhome

Perfect location, good apartment planing, well equiped.

after shower water was all over the bathroom. all other- good! 6 people family was satisfied!

The location is excellent, shower good and nice and warm in apartment. two balconies is a bonus

the lack of communication from Interhome is appalling. I e mailed them 5 days before travelling to request an early check in and for bed linen and towels, which apparently is additional to the price. No response, so 4 days later I rang them and spoke to a lady who assured me that linen and towels were ok and that we could have an early check in. I explained that we were due in Chamonix about 1 pm, the lady explained that their office would be shut for lunch but that she would leave the keys in a lock box outside their office for us. When we arrived the office was shut and there were no keys in the lock box. When the office reopened after lunch (an hour and a half later) we went inside and questioned the lady, the same one who had taken my call the day previously. We were told that it was not possible for her to put the keys in the lock box, but she could not explain why. She then gave us a large, heavy bag of linen and towels which we had to carry, as well as our luggage from one end of Chamonix to the other. I asked her why these weren't in the apartment, again no proper answer. We had previously seen other staff loading these bags of linen into a van, presumably for delivery to other accommodation. She gave us a dongle for Wi-Fi which didn't work. As we were making the beds up we discovered that the duvet and duvet covers were different sizes and that the areas behind the beds had not been cleaned for a long time, a large amount of dog hairs were visible. The hob did not work at all, although the hosts did get it going the following day. To use the microwave you had to lift it off a shelf as the plug would not fit in the adjacent sockets. Behind the bathroom door again had not been cleaned for a long time, we found a screw there along with other detritus. The flooring in one of the bedrooms is in an appalling condition and needs replacing. The cleaning charges included 100 Euros if we left a window open. We left the place far cleaner than when we arrived.
