About this villa rental
Welcome to Le Bercail
I have owned and loved this house since 1995 and it is my great pleasure to share its joys with a small number of guests each year. The house is secluded and tranquil but only two kilometres from the village of Entrecasteaux (less by foot down the "secret" Roman Road) and 40 minutes from the nearest beach. It has two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a small room with bunk beds for children and even two single beds in the room we normally use as a library/studio.
There is a third bathroom and toilet down near the back door by the pizza oven. This is not easily accessible from the house.
There is a shady garage for cars and lots of different levels, either grass or gravel for play and eating outside. There is a stone pizza oven/barbecue on the lower terrace which, together with the shade from the old oak outside the front door make two great places to eat out in the summer, The pool has been especially adapted so there is a very shallow end for children and is surrounded by railings with child-proof gates.
The living room is large and open plan. There is a wood burner for anyone there in the winter but in the summer it is hot and is not needed. There is a grand piano, Sky TV, French Satellite TV and a Stereo System/CD Player.
There is a wi-fi connection for internet junkies.
The village is very lively in the summer with several bars and restaurants but if you wish there are some wonderful remote and beautiful walks.

With two Kids and our dog we enjoyed our stay at Bercail very much. It was the Perfect place to live our provencial experience to the fullest. For questions and Support the Host and its local Team were always there for our Family Instantkaffee. Thanks again and best wishes. We would love to come back.

We had an absolutely amazing week at this stunning villa! Fabulous location in a beautifully quiet area of Provence. The villa was cosy and welcoming and perfect for people wanting to explore local villages, markets and vineyards. Roy was a great host, very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

Nous avons trouvé l’endroit sag splendide. Au niveau de la propreté, à l’intérieur, p.ex poussière au dessus de la cheminée, frigo non vidé…. Des détails qui peuvent être améliorer. L’extérieur avec la piscine et le barbecue est fabuleux.
