We had a wonderful stay at La Fratte Luxury Home, set in a beautiful and peaceful location overlooking the south side of Mount Vesuvius. The views alone are worth the visit!
Our host, Anna, was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. She was always just a WhatsApp message away and responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything easy and stress-free.
The apartment itself is finished to a very high standard. It’s spacious and well-equipped, with two comfortable bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us cool even during the hottest days of our trip.
Do note that while the property is less than a mile from the train station, it is located up a very steep hill with many steps. We had originally planned to rely solely on public transport, but after our first walk up from the station, we decided to hire a car. Thankfully, secure parking is available for just €10 per day, which made all the difference.
The apartment is spotlessly clean and includes everything you need for a longer stay—washing and drying machines, a dishwasher, a well-equipped kitchen, a TV, strong Wi-Fi (400–500 Mbps), and plenty of space to relax.
Overall, this was a fantastic base for exploring the Amalfi Coast and surrounding areas. Just be prepared for the climb—or bring a car!
The climb from the town centre, a vehicle is highly recommend.

Very fresh, newly renovated and spacious apartment, squeeky clean. Very comfortable beds, great airco across the entire apartment. Stunning view of the Vesuvius and the sea. There was a washing machine in the apartment building which came in very handy as well. Very friendly hosts. Both us and the kids loved our stay :)
We were very happy with our stay, the only remark would be that we couldn't figure out how to get the dish washer to work properly, so perhaps some instructions could be available to guests. The location is also a little tricky with the car, as of you don't arrive from the big road, google maps will send you into the most stressful narrow streets that as a tourist you might want to avoid with a rental car, so in my opinion, it's handier to navigate by GPS to the castle instead of the street address, to avoid driving around too much upon arrival. Those are my only tips for the future :)

The appartment was very nicely and cosy furnished. We liked it a lot. Enough space for 4 poeple to feel very comfortable. The place was VERY clean, which we appreciated very much. The view from the apartment was over the bay and Vesuvio. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. They answered every question we had. We also got invited by them to a nice breakfast in one of the cafes in the city. Thank you for making our stay a great holiday!
