Lovely breakfast no time pressure, warm friendly helpful staff, beautiful pool impressive room facilities (coffee dishwasher laundry).
Slightly randomly stocked kitchen - loads of plates not many glasses, tv wouldnt connect to wifi (we didnt escalate this to staff as not important enough), and no sinks in the rooms with a toilet so had to go n wash hands in the kitchen / bedroom. Small things and had a great stay.

We loved this hotel so much that we booked a second night. The hotel itself is gorgeous; as is the room that had an array of small gifts waiting for us. We stayed in the winter so there was only the one staff member during the day only, but that was fine for us. She was warm and spoke perfect English. We had a self check in late at night and the instructions provided were perfect. It was actually quite nice to enter the property with no one present. It felt like an adventure driving in the long driveway in the dark, pushing through the small dark heavy wooden door to enter into this incredible old world kitchen gently lit up at night time, and from there making our way up the curving staircase to our room that had our name on the door. If you are looking for a place that makes you feel like you are well and truly in France, this is it. We have been living in the south of France for the last few years and have travelled extensively in Provence. This hotel is by far the quintessential French experience that a foreigner dreams of. The breakfast for me was paradise - such a variety of fresh produce - and presented in picture perfect style. If you like to take photos of your food, you’ll spend just as much time taking photos of the kitchen and breakfast buffet as you will eating it. As well as cold foods, we were asked if we wanted eggs of any style and bacon. I had informed the hotel ahead of time that I was gluten free and they provided me with a lovely rustic gluten free raisin bread - well above the step of the usual tasteless gf bread that other french hotels provide (if they provide any at all). As it was winter, breakfast was served on two communal dining tables. Having said this, you are not forced to make small talk with anyone as the tables are very long and each party is seated away from others so that it feels private. Location of the hotel is superb. If you are there on a Friday morning, the (most beautiful) market is practically right outside your door!
The backing wall of the toilet was loose, so that each time you sat down it felt as if it was going to fall (although it wouldn’t). My understanding however is that there are plans to renovate which is why this hasn’t been fixed. We were happy to overlook this because everything else was so perfect.

We loved absolutely everything! The beauty, the setting, the cosiness, the absolute tastefulness of the rooms, the service and special extra touches to make us feel so welcome and the cleanliness! The delicious breakfast in the beautiful dining area - It was perfect from beginning to end. We thoroughly recommend this wonderful destination.
