Melrose House is a charming and well-maintained place to stay, located in a quiet, safe neighborhood just a short train ride from Victoria Station. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Penge East, the local train station. Trains run frequently, with the last departure around 00:30, making it easy to get back after a day in the city. The hosts were welcoming without being intrusive, which made the stay feel relaxed and comfortable. The breakfast was generous and very good. Overall, a great option if you prefer to stay slightly outside the busy city center.

I arrived a bit early due to the rain and I was received by Wendy a nice lady. I got the key to my room which was on the top floor. The room very clean and spacious. Everything I needed was in the room. The bed was so comfortable to sleep too

Location
Old bed and lumpy pillow. I was in the garden room in the back and would not stay there again. The main house is much nicer
