About this apartment rental
Small apartment located in the historic center about 400 meters from Piazza del Campo, perfect for the stay of two people. It is located on the 3rd floor of a popular period building, equipped with a lift in the condominium stairs, has a double bedroom overlooking a private internal courtyard, a bathroom with a large shower cubicle, and a kitchen-dining-living room with two windows on the public road. It is equipped with WI-Fi, LCD TV and DVD player.
The double room has a double bed which can be transformed into two single beds or it can be equipped with a cot for small children, on request.
The living room sofa is a single bed with underbed and allows you to have a double bed or another single bed in addition (3rd and 4th bed). It is padded and with a wooden slatted base.
The apartment is equipped with washing machine, iron and ironing board. The clothes can be dried in the external tensor in the facade of the building or in the internal one located in the closet.
The house is located in a restricted traffic area but with the possibility of parking for free or for a fee in the immediate vicinity (about 250 m).
In the direction of piazza del Campo, along via Pantaneto, there are many commercial establishments: restaurants, pizzerias, bars, a supermarket, an oven, a laundry. In the direction of Porta Pispini and Porta Romana the area is very popular due to the presence of schools and universities. The church of S. Spirito and the Basilica dei Servi are very close and ideal for a walk different from the usual tourist flows, with green corners and particular views of the city and the landscape that surrounds it.
The apartment can also be used as a starting point for daily itineraries around the province of Siena as in the Val d'Orcia: Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia; or Montalcino, San Gimignano and historic Chianti area.

We had a wonderful stay in Siena at this apartment. The location is great, close to everything but quiet and a great neighbourhood. The apartment is well designed and has all the amenities. Francesca was a brilliant host - providing information and support way beyond what would be expected. We're looking forward to a return visit.

A wonderful hostess, Francesca, met us at the door of the apartment and spent quite a bit of time showing us around, explaining everything that we needed to know, recommending grocery stores, and restaurants. She also explained some of the history of Siena and the neighborhood contrade. This apartment is perfectly located for experiencing the historic center of Siena. We would gladly recommend Francesca's apartment to anyone who planned to visit Siena.

A notch above the typical Homeaway rental experience. Francesca prepared a rich information packet about Siena and its attractions. The apartment was well-stocked with cooking condiments, including coffee. Location is very good, close to good eating, a grocery store, and Piazza del Campo. Bus stop for Florence (and other places) is an easy 15 minute walk away. Francesca also has posted simple instructions for summoning a taxi via text; we used it and a car arrived in just five minutes.
