About this house rental
The Fonte Pecorale is a lovingly restored 19th century azienda Century and our guests have a heated pool (4x12 m). It is located on the edge of the Gran Sasso National Park at an altitude of 450 meters amidst a charming landscape between the sea and the mountains of the Gran Sasso massif. Fonte Pecorale belongs to the municipality of Montefino, Provincia di Teramo, with 1100 inhabitants. The country house has two apartments: il Pozzo, il Nido and the holiday house la Stalla.
At Fonte Pecorale you will find peace and relaxation. Since spring 2008 there is a holiday home: La Stalla. The name suggests that this building originally served as a horse stable. After an extensive renovation, a comfortable apartment of around 60 square meters was created. It is 40 meters from the main house and has its own terrace, a small garden where you can enjoy the sun and rest, as well as its own driveway with parking space. The center of La Stalla is a large, cozy kitchen. The modern bathroom has a large shower and a bidet. The two bedrooms are lovingly furnished with double beds and wardrobes. La Stalla is a little higher than the large country house and offers a wonderful view of the nearby mountains and villages. In the apartment there is a television with satellite connection.
In our vegetable garden you will find lettuce, tomatoes, vegetables, depending on the season, and our guests can also taste our organic olive oil.

Very nice, clean and well equiped holidayhome with a nice roofed terrace. Beautiful surroundings and quiet location in between the mountains and sea. The owners are very friendly and give great advice on what places to visit. You can pick vegatables (great tasting tomatoes!) from the garden and tap your own wine. They also sell olive oil. Towels and sheets are provided and changed weekly. Our kids (11 and 9) loved playing with the dog and cats. We had a great holiday at La Stalla!
