Hotel Castell - Montagnoli Group

I really liked the location of the hotel, very good breakfast, helpful staff

The bathroom needs renovation, but everything else was great.

Excellent location, lovely town and near to fantastic restaurants (requires steep walking, which was no issue for us). The hotel itself could do with some renovations, but was acceptable... But the view is amazing and worth staying here for. The breakfast was average, the staff very helpful and friendly, and the parking works well too.

The aircon was a little weak and the size of the shower (and strength) was small (and weak), but for the location and view from the room balcony I would stay here again.

My friend and I have been at the hotel from the 13th to the 17th of June, 2024. The staff is super friendly, except the one at breakfast, she should have been a General in the army. The reception staff was trying to acommodate us always. Vittorio the bar keeper is a funny character and very friendly. Gem of the Hotel. The room we had was small but with a beautiful view and clean. The location and the pool were stunning, especially the walk down to town is just unique and lovely. It would be nice if the terrace could be used for breakfast or at least the windows open in the dining hall. Breakfast was OK, except I had the worst coffee in Italy it was a Keurig type of machine. I definitely will be back even though it is not the newest hotel and could use an update.
