Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers by IHG

The breakfast was amazing. 10/10, plenty of different food, all tasty and fresh. Delicious. The staff at the breakfast restaurant was very polite and helpful. The people at the front desk were exceptionally helpfull during check in and check out, very polite and kind. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional, the room was cleaned every day, and it was done very nicely. Bonus for 10/10, they have 2 mini football games at the lobby, which was overwhelming for my son :) General rating 10/10. Keep up the good work Crowne Plaza Copenhagen!

The breakfast was good. The hotel’s location is convenient, with a metro station nearby, which makes getting around very easy. The parking area is spacious, which is a big advantage. It is also reasonably priced for Copenhagen. The room was clean and comfortable.

First of all, I did not appreciate the cold attitude of the receptionist during check-in. Despite having already paid through Booking.com, I was asked to provide a credit card as a guarantee in case of any potential damages. While I understand that a deposit was mentioned on Booking.com, it was unclear and confusing that Maestro cards were not accepted, and there was no clear information about acceptable credit card options. It made me wonder what guests are supposed to do if they do not have another credit card. Additionally, although I had requested an extra bed during the reservation, I did not receive any response to my messages prior to arrival. When I asked about this at check-in, the receptionist told me they do not respond because they cannot guarantee the request, which I found quite unhelpful. Even then, I had to ask again, and the extra bed for my child was only brought to the room about an hour later. Furthermore, despite the room having air conditioning, it did not heat properly, and the room was quite cold—my child was uncomfortable because of this. Also, when taking a shower, water spread across the entire bathroom due to a gap between the wall and the splash guard on the shower tray. In addition, I found it quite surprising that there was not even a single bottle of water provided in the room, which I believe is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Overall, these issues were disappointing and not what I would expect from a hotel of this standard.

The place is tidy and so clean with beautiful view from the room. Beautiful garden in the grand floor and very friendly workers

Really frustrating with the baby crib. On the first day, they said the crib would be in the room by 5. When we got back at 8, no crib. Got one delivered 20 minutes later after asking at reception, however numerous parts of the sides were missing. As it was so late by this point and he needed to go to sleep, we put it against a wall with the largest holes and hoped that would be ok. However the baby fell out midway through the night and got stuck in a hole. The next day we asked for it to be changed and they promised it would, however when we got back it hadn’t again. When I asked again for it to be changed, they took the old one away but didn’t bring a replacement and I had to send the guy back again. Finally, we bought one breakfast during check in, and on check out they tried to charge us for three. Seems like the staff have really poor communication
