We were greeted by friendly and polite front of house staff making us feel welcomed and valued. At breakfast we were always met with a beaming smile by happy and enthusiastic staff. On both evenings of our stay we were looked after by Rachel at the bar and she was very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful - thanks for your time and attention.

3 nights stay for a good price with no breakfast
Staff friendly and welcoming and helpful
Changed our room to lower floor as receptionist noticed husband had a walking stick which in fact was a bigger room .
Good location for us to visit family and friends plenty of free parking
Room was clean and spacious but dated
Hotel is undergoing some updates which are needed
Bar and restaurant ok prices above average
Food not great on a basic menu in evening and not cheap (ran out of fish and chips ) and burgers were pretty basic !
Service not great
Waited an over hour for food x
( waitress very apologetic and did give us a free drink)
We paid extra for breakfast for first morning but wasn’t worth it
Self service plates hot but food cold
All in all apart from the food /service
We would stay again as near family and friends
But wouldn’t eat here again
