Friendly staff, good location, massive bathroom, excellent value for money, good choice at breakfast.
Chestnut room floor slanted considerably which meant bed not level and very noticeable when trying to sleep. Extremely noisy guest arrival at 11.30 and again at 12.30 including loud conversation by night porter.

Charming hotel in a secluded area close to Saltwell Park.

In our room we were at the back of the hotel in a standard double near the extractor fans however these went off before 10 pm.

Location.
Cleanliness, rooms carried sound, noisy neighbours. Breakfast selection was fewer than previous trip. Few moths in the room. Looked and felt scruffy.
