Amazing small boutique hotel just out of city but an easy 10 min walk into port and city.
Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood with a few restraunts and bars near by. Especially liked little beach bar, even in October could sit outside have coffee watch the sea.
Lovely coastal walk to harbour.
All staff extremely friendly helpful.
Room large, all amenities available, large bathroom, separate toilet.
Good toiletries available.
Beautiful outdoor space to have coffee, drinks.
Lovely roof top small pool, great views.
Sauna and small gym on site too.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will use this hotel again if staying in Split or traveling to islands.
Stayed at Ambassador hotel before 5 star, much more expensive, prefeted the Hotel Briig. Would highly recommend.

I stayed for 6 days with my mother in July 2025 and we had such a wonderful time! This is one of the better hotels I've ever stayed at. We booked last minute so could only secure one of the smaller/more basic rooms (double with garden view), but when we got there we were delighted at how spacious it was! Everything in the room and the wider hotel is sparkling clean and modern, beautiful furniture and interesting design elements throughout. The location couldn't be better for accessing the beach (1 minute walk out the front of hotel) as well as sight seeing in the old town (10-15 minute walk). Food and drinks are delicious in the hotel restaurant, great buffet breakfast, relaxing peaceful atmosphere in the pool area and the outdoor seating area where you can relax and enjoy some respite from the heat. Also worth mentioning how helpful and polite the hotel staff were - reception folks, waiters, cleaners, everyone was lovely. We would 100% come back here on a future visit to Split.

For the price of this hotel, the experience left much to be desired. Given this is one of the more expensive hotels in Split, expected much more hospitality. For example; staff were cold, on check-in very little information provided (no WiFi password), ac was centrally controlled (have to ring reception but they don’t mention this on check in), breakfast was average (no change and I stayed 3 days), pool was tiny (no towels there, cushions on the loungers, ability to order drinks etc). The room was spacious and clean but everything else lacked that made this a very unmemorable stay and wouldn’t return.
