In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 6, the maximum allowed occupancy is 13, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 5.
This Kiawah Island vacation rental offers a private pool, 3 bedrooms in the main house, and 3 bedrooms in the guest house. The home is about a 7-minute bike ride to the beach.
The main house offers both formal and informal living areas, each furnished with comfortable seating and TVs. The fully equipped, large kitchen offers everything needed to cook a meal while on vacation. Adjacent to the informal living area is a dining table that seats 8 and a sliding glass door to access the screened porch connecting to the deck. The first-floor primary bedroom offers a king bed, access to the back deck, a vaulted ceiling, TV, his and her closets, and its own private bathroom equipped with 2 sinks, a soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. Upstairs, you will find 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom features 2 twin beds, a TV, and a private bathroom with shower/tub combo. The second bedroom features a queen bed, a TV, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
The 2-story guest house features 3 bedrooms and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a sink, mini fridge, cabinets, and counter space. One first-floor bedroom has a king bed with a private bathroom featuring a shower/tub combo. The second first-floor bedroom has a queen bed with private access to a hall bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs, you will find a large space with 2 twin beds, 1 trundle bed, foosball table, TV, and an adorable reading nook.
Enjoy nature from the large back deck or screened porch equipped with a ceiling fan. Have fun swimming in the gorgeous private pool and dry off in the sun laying on one of the many lounge chairs located around the pool.
The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.
The pool is approximately 34ft x 9-18ft and cannot be heated.

Overall, for our first time renting through VRBO, we had a good stay. The house is a little older and had some water damage around fridge and one toilet, and a hole in one wall. The spare house was perfect for older kids, but does have a musty smell (in case you have allergies). Hot water and heat worked great for a party of six. Location is about 25 min bike ride to Heron Park. 4 mile round trip walk to the beach. Good central location.

The stay was wonderful. Rooms are spacious, kitchen is well equipped, and the common areas were perfect for the large group to hang out together.

Had to wait 45 minutes to get in. All linens not available for bedrooms. Pool was dirty. And had bees swarming around it. Railings for top deck very shaky and dangerous. All tvs do not work easily. Mattresses are horrible.Internet was good and kitchen supplies were plentiful. The 6th bedroom should not be considered a real bedroom.The property manager was good and did alleviate some of the problems.
