The incredibly rude and arrogant woman that other people have complained about is still there, although she does afternoon shift, so if you arrive early (or late) enough, you'll miss her. Everyone else is great, as are the rooms.
It's a busy commercial road, not a suburban residential, so there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
It's a bit far from the centre, but the Metro Bus stops right outside the front door, so it's actually not too bad. The bus goes near the Roma and Condesa areas, and connects with several Metro stations.
