Large and bright fully restored penthouse on the 4th floor located in via Dei Falegnami 16, one of the most central streets in the historic center of Bologna. Entrance into living room with parquet floors, sitting area and equipped kitchenette. The terrace with Jacuzzi with panoramic view over the roofs of Bologna enriches the living area by giving additional space and light. Large marble bathroom with double shower head and hydromassage.

How to reach Falegnami Suites: From the Airport Guglielmo Marconi of Bologna: A Taxi from the airport to Falegnami street could costs between 15 and 20 euro. You can also reach the address by BLQ bus. Your stop is Mille (city centre) about 300 m from the apartments. The bus costs 6,00 per person and takes about 25 minutes to reach the city center. By Train: The train station is 800 meters far from via de Falegnami and can be reached by foot in 10min. By Car: The car parking closer to Falegnami Suites are: the public parking APCOA in Piazza 8 Agosto at 20,00 euro/day. More details here: http://www.apcoa.it/parking in/bologna/piazza viii agosto.html (enter from Porta San Donato without entering in the traffic limited zone) Garage Bologna, 75 via Riva di Reno. They will take care of the permit for the traffic limited zone after your arrival. Rates from 18,00 to 30,00 euro/day depending on the car.

I spent a wonderful three nights in this flat. It’s completely updated and beautifully done. It’s located at the top of the building (nice modern lift) and has its own patio with a Jacuzzi tub, which was very relaxing in the summer evenings. Air conditioning was also appreciated as bologna was very hot in the summer. Everything I needed was nearby and it was only 10 minutes walk from the main square. I stayed in a lot of rentals around the world, and this five star review is well deserved. I wished I could stay longer.

Asked to check in early and was told we would have to pay a little more. We were okay with that. However, when we got to the place at 12:30 it was not ready to check-in. We also noticed that there were bowls and towels on the bed catching water that was leaking from the skylight. We left and called the management and they said that this happens and the rain was to be stopping and things will be fine. We then went back to the room around 1:30 and went into the unit. The bed had been pushed up against a wall so that one of us would have to crawl over the other to get out of bed. And it was still raining and another leak started to form. We decide to move the bed and put it in the kitchen and put the kitchen table in the bedroom. The next morning there was another puddle. We got another bowl and eat breakfast. After the rain finally stop later in the day, we returned and cleaned things up, and moved the bed back into the bedroom area. There were also little things missing like a sharp knife, wine glasses, trash bags & dish soap for the dishwasher. Other than that our trip was great.

I’m not fond of the independent check in - it seems the days of an agent acclimating you are gone. Consequently the extra bed we were promised was not present and the ac remote was not working . However on a Sunday! someone came and helped with both which was good. The apartment itself was as promised - clean, good bathroom, hot water, small terrace - I would actually rent there again because the location was perfect . Trattoria Rosso, The Black Cat and Mo Mortadellla were right in the neighborhood and Bologna is all about food!
