About this bed and breakfast
Our cute and cozy guest house is now available for vacation rentals. The property is located on a wooded hilltop overlooking Wimberley with stunning views of the valley. It is the perfect location for those looking for a quiet place to stay while in the area for shopping or special events. It is only minutes away from the Wimberley Square.
There are two separate guest areas located in the same building. The downstairs has a private bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, full bath, king bed and sleeper sofa in the living area.
The upstairs has a large open area, queen bed, 2 bunk beds and sleeper sofa. There is a kitchenette with sink, microwave oven and refrigerator. It has a large bath with shower. Keurig coffee makers are included in both units along with the pods.
To be clear, you would be renting the entire house, not just one level. We don't ever rent the levels separately. Access to the upper level is by the outside stairs on the side of the house.
We have DISH Satellite service and there are large flat panel TVs on both levels with Netflix available downstairs. We also have free Wi-Fi service.
There is a large stone patio with hot tub and Weber charcoal grill. We also feature a swimming pool just off the patio that is fully surrounded by a wooden deck. There is an outdoor shower next to the hot tub.
A walking trail begins near the patio and winds past a sitting area, on past the tree house and ends at another sitting are on the opposite side.
People come to Wimberley from all over the country to enjoy the quaint village, shop at the Wimberley Market Days or for weddings and other special events. Our Buttercup guest house is the perfect spot to spend the night, rest and relax before or after your activities.
Buttercup is situated on a high hill overlooking the Wimberley Valley. We have 5 wooded acres. There is a main house and guest house located on the property. Guests have exclusive use of the patio, hot tub and swimming pool during their stay.

Perfect for our family of 5. We loved the quiet location, beautiful views and the pool and hot tub. The owners live across the driveway from the guesthouse, but we never saw them and was not an issue at all. The place was SO clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We brought some canopies for extra shade and spent a lot of time outdoors on their playground and playing in the pool. Highly recommend

My Husband and I were looking for a place for a little R & R, and our stay here was just the place. The only complaint that we do have is the WiFi here was not able to get our Texas Ranger games. We are true Ranger Fans. We spent most of our time pool side which was clean and so relaxing. We were always greeted by adorable deer and other wild life.If your looking for a quite peaceful place to stay this is it.

To all the people reading the reviews, this place was peaceful, relaxing, we enjoyed every moment. My family and I always carry extra kitchen utensils, pans shampoo, but this house has almost everything you could need. The pool was just amazing, my family had such a great time. Will be recommending and hope to come next year.
