Our stay at Agriturismo I Moricci was perfect. Nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany, the property offers breathtaking views and serene surroundings where mainly wine and olives are grown.
Our host Maria was very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with our needs or to give local tips.
Agriturismo I Moricci is ideal for relaxing after day trips to nearby towns like Volterra, San Gimignano and Pisa.
Our apartment was quiet, spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, with rustic charm and modern comfort combined. The high ceilings and the completely closable shutters perfectly prevent the heat of the day from entering the rooms – we had up to 42° C outside. So no wonder that the pool area is a highlight — clean, quiet, and surrounded by nature. It offers good swimming (everywhere about 1,20 m deep, with shallow steps for easy entry), enough sunbeds and umbrellas for all guests – pets are not allowed inside the fenced pool area.
In front of our apartment we had a private outside seating area, perfect to dry the swimming gear or to have a meal. Additionally there are many seating areas scattered around the garden and building, each with its own charm and character.
The apartment has a well equipped kitchen (gas stove, electric kettle, etc.), but we could also use a shared kitchen. In nearby Fabricca you have only a few options for eating out – it’s a nice 20 minutes’ walk. For more options you definitely need a car, although there is a public bus connection from Peccioli to Fabricca (about every hour during day).
One of the memorable moments was the wine tasting organized by Maria. We had the chance to sample her excellent local wines and regional delicacies, all while learning about the traditions and flavors of the area.
If you're looking for a place to unwind, taste local specialties, and enjoy genuine hospitality, Agriturismo I Moricci is a perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed and would always recommend it.

Takový malý životní zážitek. Hlavně ten klid a ticho. Obrovské pokoje. A jako velký bonus bazén se slanou vodou. Poloha na kopečku, s výhledy do okolí. Olivové háje a vinice. Spousta krásných vůní. A ta pohoda, najednou člověk nikam nespěchá a užívá si ten klid. Musíme se sem vrátit

Cumplió ampliamente nuestras expectativas de alojarnos en un entorno alejado de los hoteles o apartamentos habituales. Está en plena naturaleza, rodeado de viñedos y olivos y a pesar del resto de huéspedes o de los propietarios, que también viven en la enorme casona, tienes una total autonomía y Privacidad. El trato con María, nuestra anfitriona, fue excelente y estuvo siempre pendiente de cualquier necesidad, ofreciendo a la vez distintos planes que realizar en el entorno. Nos permitió también participar, aunque fuera brevemente, en una vendimia junto a personal y familiares de la casa. A pesar de estar algo alejado de los circuitos habituales de la Toscana al disponer de vehículo es posible alcanzar en una jornada cualquiera de las ciudades o pueblos más emblemáticos.
Lo peor, con diferencia, fue que se terminara nuestra estancia allí.
