All of the Lake District’s main attractions are close by, including Keswick and Windermere, as well as amazing walks and cycle routes nearby. The property is also only 2 miles from the steamer jetty at Ullswater, where you’ll be able to enjoy an afternoon on the water. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub ½ mile.

What a fantastic location! We had a lovely week staying at Lake View Farm. It was spotlessly clean, and very well equipped, and the welcome gift was a lovely touch! It is the perfect location for exploring all the lakes, with most being within an hours distance. Couldn’t really ask for more out of this accommodation and the view is just beautiful! Thank you very much 😊

Absolutely lovely cottage annex in a beautiful part of the Lakes. Beautiful views across Ullswater. Place was absolutely spotless, really well equipped with a really comfortable bed. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again :)

We stayed at Lake View from Monday - Friday at the beginning of December.
The barn conversion is very comfy and cosy and it was really peaceful and quiet. We didn't see a soul all week although I would imagine in the summer this would be a different scenario.
The drive that leads up to the barn is easily missed from the main road as happened to us and we had to turn around. There is no signage at the bottom of the drive also the entrance is a bit concealed and I would imagine in the summer months would be difficult to exit.
The view from the living room to Ullswater is beautiful.
The lack of outside space wasn't really an issue for us due to the time of year but in the summer months this would be different. There is no outside decked area as described in the property description.
A couple of downsides - although the barn conversion has all you could need for your stay in terms of equipment and cleaning items, there was no washing up liquid, not everything will go in the dishwasher. Also it was nice to have coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits and wine left for us but some milk in the fridge would have been great to.
Overall we had a lovely stay in this beautiful property. We would stay again but in the winter for us rather than the summer as it was so peaceful and quiet.
